Shut Down boilermaker job available for short term contract FIFO Townsville

Operating in North Queensland, this company specializes in the maintenance and repair of mobile mining equipment. Due to continuous improvement strategies, a suitably experienced Boilermaker is required for an immediate start to ensure targets are continuously met.

Your new role

Reporting to a site/workshop manager, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of various mobile plant mining equipment, ensuring that the productivity of the workshop is maintained.

To be successful it is essential you:

• Are a Trade Qualified Boilermaker
• Experience with different mine site fixed plant machinery
• Working at Heights
• Confined space
• Ability to pass a medical and D&A
• Are available for FIFO from Townsville,
• Have exposure to working on a mining environment, surface and underground experience is advantageous
