Auto Electrician Trade Assistant, QLD
- Previous experience in similar role
- Relevant Trade Qualification
Desirable
- Forklift License
- Heavy Rigid (HR) Drivers License
- First Aid Certificate
Duties/ Responsibilities:
- To diagnose and undertake electrical repairs on a wide variety of light vehicles, haulage and plant equipment using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
- To undertake electrical installation of accessories and ancillary equipment on light vehicles, haulage and plant equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance checks and repairs on all electrical equipment and components in accordance to Manufacturers guidelines and Ostojic Group maintenance schedule.
- Connect power-operated vehicle equipment and accessories to power supply
- Adjust engine control systems and timing.
- Test and replace defective alternators, generators, voltage regulators and starter motors when required.
- Complete all job cards and work orders for repairs carried out as per requirements.
Note that Mount Isa local applicants with the experience required will be preferred. FIFO may be an option for the right applicant from Brisbane, Cairns or Townsville ONLY
