Currently seeking expressions of interest from amphibious excavator operators for a potential project in Northern QLD. 

Amphibious Excavator Operator Northern QLD

Candidates will possess the following attributes:

  • Minimum 5 years operating experience
  • Appropriate RII Qualification
  • Extensive experience in the operation of long reach and amphibious excavators
  • Extensive experience in various conditions and operations around other plant
  • The flexibility to work away from home for extended periods of time on rosters
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Current Construction Industry Blue or White Card
  • Current Drivers Licence – Minimum C Class (Manual)
  • The ability to multi task in a busy environment

Resources and Infrastructure Industry (RII)

Commonly refered to as Black Coal Competency (BCC), the RII competency is one that can be attained by an operator who has previously worked in the industry and has completed a number of operating hours on various types of machinery.

RII competency is granted to prove correct and safe operation of mine site machinery. It is a very useful qualification to have, as it confirms the operator has the required experience and expertise.
