3000 jobs for Northern Territory FIFOs who are keen to work

NT jobs bonanza for 3000 workers ready to FIFO

Looking for work in the mining and construction sector and can’t find work in Queensland?

Good news, if you’re up for an adventure and keen to work and earn the big money in the resource sector, then head to the Northern Territory in search of construction jobs.

This is a huge new opportunity for FIFO workers to secure ongoing work.

Thousands of mining and construction jobs

Thousands of mining and construction jobs are reported to be in the pipeline after the Northern Territory government signed off on two huge mining projects.

The TIVAN Metals Refinery and Ammaroo Phosphate Project could create 2,800 Northern Territory mining jobs.

According to latest reports, the Northern Territory government has signed project facilitation agreements for the two projects worth $850 million and $750 million.

Construction of the (TIVAN Metals Refinery) mine and its associated refinery is anticipated to create 1700 construction jobs and 600 mining jobs.

However, don’t go rushing off the Northern Territory just yet as the project is still subject to an Environmental Impact Study, which is looking more than likely to be completed this year (2017).

The Ammaroo Phosphate Project is also expected to create 500 jobs during construction and operations, with construction expected to begin in 2018.
